Fishing

Fishing gives a child lessons they won’t learn in school. They learn about fish species, how they spawn, water conservation, and ecology.

Let’s face it – kids are impatient. In our world, they are conditioned to expect a bombardment of stimuli. Tv, video games and their smartphone are all constantly bombarding them with information. Fishing teaches them to slow down, relax and be patient. It allows their young minds to unwind and soak in what is around them.

How often do kids have a real conversation with their parents? A real life conversation about school, friends and goals. Fishing allows this conversation to take place with no distractions – except for when the fishing line gives a tug.
